does anyone know if getting a tax lawyer to resolve your taxes affect your credit score if so for how long?

Having a tax lawyer or not wouldn’t affect your score. Difficulties with the IRS could.
If you had a tax lien on file as a matter of public record and an attorney or anyone else resolved the problem and the lien was released, it would be a plus.
