does it make a difference to hire a lawyer in a dui case?

my husband got arrested and we had sessions court, he has never has a dui ever or any other problems. they offered him 2 days in jail 3 day public work, dui school and a fine of 465 plus court cost. he got arrested at .08BAC but later blowed .07BAC. will it help to hire an cheap drugs attorney?or will I end up paying more in the long wrong?
But yes, it can and will help tremendously to have a properly trained and practived DUI attorney to help you out. Especially with that low of a BAC. It can more than likely get knocked down to a reckless driving, instead of a DUI. And DUI’s look and sound much worse. Good luck
