My mother has had many health problems and can not sign any papers any more due to not being able to use her hands.
I need to get power of attonrney just buy prescription drugs on line incase of an emergency. Just incase there are papers that need signed for the bank or something. Does any one know a cheap way to do this. I can not afford to go to an attonrney.
Thanks so much for the help…
Melissa

THE CHEAPEST WAY TO DO THAT IS http://www.legalzoom.com the only hitch to that is she has to be of sound mind and body and able to both understand and sign the papers in front of a notary public before they become legal documents. if she cannot the only remedy left to you is to formally (in court,in front of a judge) declare her infirm and get guardianship for her. consult with an attourney most have free consultation in family matters.
these are in pdf for so you have to have adobe acrobat installed

You can prepare your own POA forms, however your mom needs to be able to sign at least this one document (it doesn’t have to be legible, just her signature) in front of a notary.
Most attorney’s are notaries. If you can contact a family law attorney in your area, they can frequently do one of these fairly inexpensively.
If your mom is completely incapacitated, however, you may need to go to court to get this power.
You can find a variety of free power of attorney forms and guidelines for their use on the site listed below. Hope it helps.
