How much does a tax lawyer cost?

Does anyone know generally how much a tax lawyer should cost? I know each situation may be different and different drugs online without prescription lawyers may charge different rates but generally how much do they cost? I reside in the Chicago area.




$250 to $400 an hour.
I agree with the other answerer…except I think it’s going to be closer to the $400- per hour figure. Tax attornies are a very specialized field within the law. They don’t ‘give away’ their services.
