I want to be a business lawyer. All info appreciates PLEASE!!!
I currently go to ASU. I am getting my bachelors of applied science in Operations Management Technology. For a little extra info this is what my degree is about: The B.A.S is a "capstone" or "inverted transfer" degree for the Associate of Applied Science degree. In completing the B.A.S you will complete all ASU graduation requirements. The B.A.S. online degree exposes students to advanced concepts and diverse critical thinking skills that prepare them for future career opportunities and professional advancement. The goal of the program is to provide you with management, leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills—along with significant work in a professional specialization—that will broaden your career horizons, promote life-long learning, and enrich your personal and civic life.
I have been told that 6 months before graduation I should start applying to law schools. I live in Arizona and want to know if it would be in my best interest to go to law school in a different state; possibly east coast or else where?
Also, I’ve heard that it is pointless to get your JD in law unless you are planning to teach. Is this true or will it help my salary and knowledge of law to practice?
Also, what should I get my Masters in?
My long term goal is to be a lawyer in international business law.
Also, I know that it would be smart for me to learn different languages. What languages would be best to learn for international business as well as for school when applying to law schools? I was thinking about buying Rosetta Stone (RosettaStone.com) to learn different languages. I’ve heard nothing but positive remarks regarding this software and I know the government uses it. What do you think?
I would just really appreciate all information just buy fertility drugs without a prescription to help for guidance since I have two years left until I graduate and I know that I really need to start thinking about my plan for law school, etc.
Thank you!! So much!! You can also contact me through IM on Yahoo Messenger: Nikg35
Thanks again!

Okay …. where to start.
First, whoever told you it was "pointless to get your JD in law unless you are planning to teach," should never be listened to. In most states (only two exceptions come to mind) a JD is required to take the bar. That means if you want to be a lawyer you HAVE to have a JD.
As for going to law school. Sign up to take the LSAT no later than Oct of your last year of school. If you’re graduating in two years, you may want to look into taking the LSAT this Feb. It will give you time to see how you score, take it test again if you’re unhappy with the score, and choose the schools that fit you best. Law school application deadlines can come as early as November as well, so don’t put off applying until after Christmas of your last year.
Foreign languages are always useful, even if you choose not to do international law. As for which languages…well any really. Any additional language you speak is an asset. Spanish is of course always popular, and you’re out west so Japanese and Chinese will be useful as well. I’ve seen jobs looking for all of those, as well as French, German, Hebrew, Swahili, Polish, and Hindi. There’s no wrong language to learn.
Best of luck to you though. I hope I gave you something that helped.
