One of the possible criminal charges against Eliot Spitzer is that he violated The Mann act.
The Mann act makes it a crime to transport Cialis Online pills anyone across state lines for the purposes of Prostitution.
Eliot Spitzer paid to have the Prostitute known by her pseudonym "Kristen" travel from New York to Washington DC for the purpose of engaging in the act of Prostitution.
How would you defend Eliot Spitzer against this charge if you were the defense attorney for Eliot Spitzer?

I am applying to law schools right now. I hope to be accepted to law school and be in law school this fall.
I would attack two points. First that Eliot Spitzer did not transport the woman.
Second i would challenge the notion that she was engaged in the act of prostitution.
With respect to transportation: the woman got to Washington DC on her own. Eliot Spitzer did not transport her there.
Eliot Spitzer did not put her in his car. Eliot Spitzer did not put her on a bus. Eliot Spitzer did not put her on a train. Eliot Spitzer did not put her on a plane.
How did Eliot Spitzer transport her there? The answer is: Eliot Spitzer did not transport her there.
"Kristin" transported herself to Washington DC.
If someone did transport "Kristin" to Washington DC it was not Eliot Spitzer.
If Eliot Spitzer did not transport her to Washington DC, Eliot Spitzer cannot possibly be in violation of the Mann act.
I would also attack the question of whether or not "Kristin" was engaged in the act of prostitution with Eliot Spitzer although based on the facts that I have seen reported so far, I think that would be more of a challenge.
Again, you would require that an act of sex in exchange for money ever took place to prove Prostitution.
I suppose I would challenge the prosecution to prove that an act of sex even took place.
What proof would the prosecution have? Did they have video cameras in the room where the act of sex is supposed to have taken place? Did they have undercover agents watching through peepholes?
Of course it is possible that they will be able to make the woman testify against Eliot Spitzer.
I would challenge her testimony on the basis that she is guilty of many other crimes and is lying because the prosecution has offered her leniency if she testifies against Eliot Spitzer.
The prosecution will reply with the recordings of Eliot Spitzer that they made. I would challenge those as illegal and inadmissable.
Also the Prosecution will respond with the proof of the exchange of money.
I would challenge their proof that an exchange of money took place and more importantly I would challenge that the act of sex that is required to establish the act of Prostitution never took place.

Well you would have to be a good liar, or a fast talker for sure!!
I’d do it like Jack Johnson the boxer. First I’d find a guy in the minor leaugues who looked like Spitzer. Than I’d dress that guy up like Spitzer in Spitzer’s clothing and send him off in a limo so no one can see his face but so the press will follow the impostor without knowing it. Then I would quietly encourage my client to jump bail and leave the country. Once out of the country it would be imperative for Spitzer to beat someone up – "hopefully" someone of another race. It all makes sense.
