I’m buying an established business, do we need a lawyer or broker?

we have an agreement of sale prepared already stating that there Buy Cipro will be no liens or debts by the agreement date. are there any other paperwok needed? do lawyers or brokers officially close the seller’s business before i take over since I’m renaming the place. Or is that an accountants jobs?
Is important the role of a competent commercial law attorney to advise and prepare the legal structure of a business purchase and sale transaction.
So, there are no requirements to have a lawyer, and especially a broker!
So, you say no liens or debts, do you know if there are any taxes that have accrued, but not paid? Some taxes like property taxes accrue on the end of the year, but are not due till the end of January. So, it’s not a lien or a debt, but you’ll have to pay it.
But personally, I wouldn’t buy a popsicle without my attorney being involved!
