Once i get appointed a public defender for a DUI can I get a lawyer later if I choose?

i Viagra Online would like to know my options with the public defender first before wasting my money on a high priced lawyer. how can i go about this? Can public defenders reduce duis to a wet and wreckless or am i better off hiring an attorney for that? This is my first DUI in CA.
You will seem much more intelligent to everybody if you refer to a "wet reckless." There is no "and" and "wreckless" would refer to driving without wrecks, which we all want. The phrase refers to a reckless driving plea when the charge involves the use of alcohol.
Public defenders ARE lawyers, and in the ordinary DUI case have as much expertise and experience as any street lawyer, and more than most. However, if you can afford to hire counsel, then you will not qualify for representation by the PD. If the PD is appointed, and you are somehow able to hire counsel, that attorney can substitute in.
