in some states it a gross misdemeanor to refuse the preliminary breath test and you can be arrested for refusing to do field sobriety testing too..

drunk driving is extremely selfish, and it’s stupid that some lawyers dedicate their lives to getting people out of it. driving impaired is putting other road users in a danger that they do not agree to or deserve, therefore, it is a horrible thing to do
Although what he is saying is perfctly true, I would love to see if his view is the same if his child was mowed down by a drunk driver. I’m an English cop and although procedure needs to be followed to ensure fairness and integrity, slimeball lawyers and solicitors really think with their wallets before their morals.

Yes. You will most likley be arrested at that point. You then have an important decision to make. You can take the breath test at the station or refuse it. If you refuse it your case is most likley going to be dismissed if u get a lawyer, but u face an automatic suspension. If you think you will pass, take it, if not the dont.
Despite the fact that your driver’s license can be suspended for a year under NO circumstance should anyone submit to a test. Ultimately your attorney will get your case thrown out and with an appeal of the suspension they usually give your license back. Best advice is to keep your mouth shut and refuse all tests. In my case they threw out my DUI and I got to keep my license. Screw those pigs! Me 1, Cops 0

Given the dangers, texting while driving penalties should be much more severe than those for driving under the influence. To do otherwise is hypocritical.
And in either case, unless you’re damn sure you can blow clean, and I mean totally clean, you are better off never blowing at all. Never offer evidence to police unless required by a warrant. Better an automatic suspension than a record.

All bars should have a locker system where you put your car keys and can’t get them back unless you breath a legal limit on the breathalyzer. It just makes sense. Sure, people will cheat the system, but it would at least help a bit. I’m so sick of cops waiting outside of the bar and pulling you over just because they saw you leave the bar. Than, on top of that, because they think your drunk, they treat you like an asshole, no matter how polite you are to them. Fucking smug pricks.
take it at the station people! you gots an hour to 2 hours to sober up before u take the test.
for kicks, get a breathilizer and experiment with what exactly a .08 is…
I took one sip and blew a .06 – a beer or 2 can easily register .08 and not feel any affects of alcohol
