Attorneys advertise these days – check your local newspaper – you’ll probably find a little ad the size of a business card that will give you the name of an attorney who specializes in divorce actions…Even your local yellow pages may have attorneys listed by their specialty…Don’t be afraid to call a couple of them to find out if they accept flat fees in the case of simple divorces or if they charge by billable hours…Good luck – and I’m sorry your marriage didn’t work out; no one wins when relationships go south like that…
check the phone book, call for quotes.

PS – if the only "proof" you have is the word of your wife’s best friend, then you sure as hell better trust the other lady more than your wife, otherwise you might be making a horrible mistake
Just start calling them and asking them how much they would charge to represent you. And tell them that you have proof of her infidelity, and when you file, ask the courts for HER to pay your legal bills. If you can get that "friend" of hers to give a deposition telling what she knows, you might get the courts to make her pay for YOUR attorney.
Now wouldn’t that be sweet?!?
She won’t let me talk to him nor give me the number."after all these years" he probably thinks I didn’t try..
Don’t look for cheap, find the best, most successful, most ruthless one in town. It’s cheaper in the long run.
You can conduct your own divorce in the state of Texas. You can do so without engaging a lawyer. All the information you need, the forms you must complete and the instructions are free and online. They can be read and downloaded from this very web site.
There are certain rules you must follow. Remember thousands of Texans have successfully conducted their own divorce. You are about to do what many have done already. This process is not new.
There are some important dates you need to know about.
1. One of the spouses has to have resided in Texas for at least six months before you can file for divorce.
2. One of the spouses must have lived in the county in which the application for divorce is made for at least 90 days.
3. Once you apply, the court will not grant the divorce for at least 60 days.
There are only two grounds for divorce in Texas.
1. The marriage has irretrievably broken down and there is no reasonable expectation that it can be restored.
2. The couple has lived separately and apart without cohabitation for at least three years.
So if your marriage situation successfully meets the criteria set out above, you are able to conduct your own divorce. Mind you, there is nothing to stop you researching the divorce procedure immediately while waiting for the time limit to tick over.
