My wife was at a spa getting a massage (which she loved), went to take a steam shower, and when she left the steam room, the tile & floor under her gave way. She fell up to her hips, and it ripped a bunch of skin off one side of her leg. We went to the emergency room, and she got 30 stiches, plus she will have a scar for life. buying drugs online Do I need to get a lawyer for any reason? Are we entitled to any kind of compensation?

Of course….get a decent lawyer ASAP and he’ll advise you on what sort of compensation you should get. In the US I’d say this is in the tens of thousands – in canada a cup of coffee or two.
You need to do this ASAP, and get photos of it right away before it heals and document everything, including the emergency room reports if you can get them.
Is she obese? If not, I would sue for damages.
yeah you can sue for that. i think you should. its the spa’s fault.
Absolutely. See an attorney right away. They will try to settle with you for next to nothing. A good personal injury attorney will get you a larger settlement, and you will not have to pay the attorney anything until he secures a settlement or judgment for you.
Well you can get a lawyer and try to sue them. If that’s what you and your wife want.
i would get a lawyer! sue for damage to her leg! she’s in ym prayers!
Yes, you’re entitled to compensation and yes, you want a lawyer. The business is going to try to lowball on any settlement, paying as little as possible. (Maybe just offering free services and no money!)
An attorney knows about how much similar cases have settled for and can guide you through a settlement or a day in court. He or she will get a substantial portion of your judgment, usually about 1/3, but without him or her, you’re likely to settle for far less than you might otherwise get.
deffinatly i know alot of lawyers
Your wife does not need a lawyer. She has grounds to pursue a bodily injury claim. She should put the owner of the facility on notice, in writing, that she intends to make a claim.
Scarring takes a minimum of six months to heal completely. You should wait that long to see how the scar looks. Your wife can then make a demand for any amount she chooses.
You are certainly entitled to ambulance and medical expenses and possibly pain & suffering. Was there an accident report filled out at the spa? Do you have names and addresses of witnesses? You will need all the evidence of where, when, and exactly what happened if you file a lawsuit.
Ya get a lawyer they usually take these on for a percentage and no upfront fee
